To learn more about our dynamic, stable and growing company, PRINCIPAL PURPOSE:
Owns the project management function for a nominal $20M project to design and construct a new spray dryer. This position is a key role in the growth of the business and as such, will have visibility to the C-level executives. This role combines technical aptitude, planning, leadership, and ability to communicate effectively with a broad project team, including business stakeholders. The length of assignment is approximately two years, at which time (after startup), the role will transition to Corporate support for other projects.
Essential Functions:
Follows and enforces all safety policies and procedures including use of safety equipment (PPE) and equipment safeguards. Performs Job Hazard Analyses, Safety Observations, and training as required. Responsible for the safe performance of contract work in the facility. Works to advance and promote the safety culture of the site. Leads the project governance process for the Project, including scheduling/conducting routine stakeholder reviews, managing change control, and monitoring project execution metrics. Leads all project activities from conceptual design, implementation, and on to commissioning. This includes completion of design, planning, risk analysis, resource (e.g. contractor/vendor) identification, construction, and startup. Leads cross-functional scope, design, and project reviews to ensure the project meets the desired Business, Safety, Quality, and Operational objectives. Coordinates with Regulatory department to obtain all necessary Environmental and Construction permits necessary for the project. Responsible for ensuring project design and execution is in compliance with City, County, State, and Federal regulatory requirements as determined for the situation. Coordinates and supervises the work of contractors, design engineers, and technology specialists. Prepares purchase requisitions for equipment and services to assure timely completion of projects. Submits routine budget and status reports on the project to company Stakeholders. Prepares and organizes project information (engineering drawings, standards, permits, etc) in a structured manner to facilitate good documentation practices. Provides engineering assistance to other departments as needed.
Qualifications:
Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering (Chemical, Electrical, or Mechanical preferred) with a detailed knowledge of process design, controls, project management, mechanical design, and construction methods and their practical application. Previous experience leading a large project ($10M+) and preferably, experience with spray dryer operations. A minimum of 10 years of experience including project management and scheduling, plant operations, equipment maintenance and process control equipment and theory. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Confidence and aptitude to communicate with a broad range of teams from executive, engineering, and on to line/construction workers. Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft business software (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Experience with project management software (MS Project, Primavera, etc) is desired. Travel Requirements:
The position is based at the project location in Ogden, UT, but travel to vendors for equipment selection, evaluation, and check-out should be expected. #IN
Salary Range:
$100K -- $150K
Minimum Qualification

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
